Dose reminders
Never miss a dose, or a better price
We'll email you a few days before your dog's next dose is due, with that day's cheapest price for your band. One email a month. No account, no spam.
How this works (the honest version)
What "per dose, delivery included" means
We take the price of one pack, add what that shop says it charges to deliver that one pack to the area you picked (Sydney until you pick), and divide by the number of chews in the pack. A 6-pack is usually cheaper per dose than a 3-pack. Some shops deliver free above a set spend, so a small pack can cost more per dose once delivery is added.
Where a shop doesn't publish a delivery price for your area (it works it out from your postcode at checkout), we say so and show the price before delivery. Those shops are listed separately and not ranked. Delivery rules were read from each shop's own delivery page on 15 Oct 2026.
The postcode box is approximate: it matches your postcode to a capital city's metro area, "regional / rural" or "remote / outback" by postcode range. A shop's own postcode list can differ slightly.
What we leave out
- Autoship and subscription discounts. Most shops take 5–20% off if you sign up for repeat delivery. We show the one-off price so every shop is compared the same way.
- First-order codes and free-chew promotions. These change often. Where a shop listed a bonus chew on the day, we mention it but don't count it.
- Member prices. Petbarn shows a much lower price to its free Friends for Life members. We list that as its own row, clearly marked.
- Overseas and grey-import stock. We only list Australian sellers. Overseas listings and sellers we couldn't trust are left out.
- Exact regional rates. Pick "Regional / rural" or "Remote / outback" and we use the shop's published country rate where it has one. Where it doesn't, the shop is listed under "shown at checkout".
Where the prices come from
Each price was read by hand from the shop's own product page (14 Oct 2026 for the specialist pet shops, 15 Oct 2026 for marketplace sellers on Amazon, Bunnings, Woolworths and eBay). Prices change, sometimes daily, and the shop's checkout price is the one that counts. Where we couldn't open a shop's page and took the price from that shop's own listing in search results, the card says "Confirm price at shop".
Not every shop sells every size.
About these products
NexGard Spectra (Boehringer Ingelheim) and Simparica Trio (Zoetis) are monthly chews for dogs registered by the APVMA, Australia's regulator for veterinary chemicals. Both are Schedule 5 ("Caution") products, so they're sold in pet shops and online without a vet prescription.
We don't say one is better than the other. What each chew covers, and the right dose, is on the product label. Ask your vet if you're not sure which product or weight band suits your dog, especially for puppies, dogs that are pregnant, breeding or unwell, or dogs on other medicines.
